The new Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Registry system launched as planned at 9am on Tuesday, 3 June 2025.
The new system is fully operational and available for use, delivering an improved, secure and user-friendly system that meets the evolving needs of the VEU program and industry.
Thank you to industry stakeholders for their significant effort to prepare for the new system and make this launch a success.
We greatly appeciate the ongoing cooperation and feedback from system users as we continue to improve the system over time. We will continue to provide updates after the 3 June launch of further system enhancements.
Getting started in the new VEU Registry
To begin using the system, follow the detailed instructions in the Checklist: What to do on day one available on the project website page.
In summary, complete the following key steps to get started:
1. Access the system:
- Access the new VEU Registry system via this link: https://veu.esc.vic.gov.au/.
2. Reset your password:
- On the top right corner of the page, select ‘Login’.
- On the login page, enter your email address and select ‘reset password’.
- After a few minutes, check your email account for your password reset link (check your spam folder if you cannot see the email).
- Click on the ‘password reset’ link.
- Follow the prompts on the page to reset your password and access the new system.
3. Set up multi-factor authentication:
- When you login to the new VEU Registry, you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) through an authenticator app. You will be prompted to use MFA every time you log into your VEU Registry account. Access this step-by-step MFA set-up guide to assist.
4. Review your account:
- Once you have logged into your account in the new system you can review your account information. If you are a primary user, you will be able to set up secondary users.
- Use the Checklist: What to do on day one to guide you through setting up and getting familiar with the new system.
- If you want to authorise a third-party application provider to enable bulk submissions and haven’t already done so, please use the ‘contact us’ form in the new system, ensuring you tell us which third party you wish to authorise. We will confirm when this is complete.
