The Essential Services Commission has approved the maximum prices Victoria’s 18 water businesses can charge their customers for services such as water delivery and sewerage services in 2026-27.
21 May 2026
The maximum interest rate that water businesses may charge their customers on unpaid water bills from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 will be 6.0 per cent per annum.
1 April 2026
We have released our final decisions on the new prices to apply from 1 July 2026 for two Victorian water businesses – Melbourne Water and North East Water.
