The Essential Services Commission is reviewing the Victorian energy rules, to improve how energy businesses register energy customers who rely on life support equipment.
GB Environmental Pty Ltd (GB Environmental) has had restrictions placed on its Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) accreditation for three months, for breaching the VEU program rules.
The Essential Services Commission has confirmed the maximum prices Victoria’s 18 water businesses can charge their customers for specific services in 2025–2026.

Minimum feed-in tariff
The Essential Services Commission no longer sets minimum feed-in tariffs, following an amendment to the Electricity Industry Act 2000.
From 1 July, electricity retailers may set their own feed-in tariffs. However, these cannot be below zero ($0.00) cents per kWh. More information is available from the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change.
