We will release a Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Registry system update on 14 January 2026 to change unjustified activity list views and update scheme participant training units for activities 13, 15, 17 and 26.
VEU Registry system update: Unjustified activity list views and training unit changes
We will update the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Registry system at 10am on Wednesday, 14 January 2026 to:
- Change unjustified activity list views.
- Update scheme participant training units for activities 13, 15, 17 and 26.
- The VEU Registry system will continue to be available during the release (no outage).

Unjustified activity list view updates
Minor updates will be made to unjustified activity list views to no longer display withdrawn, approved or refused activities.
This will help accredited persons manage the below duplicate activity submissions:
- All Unjustified Duplicates
- Unjustified External Duplicates
- Unjustified Internal Duplicates
- Unjustified Activity 15 Duplicates.

Training unit changes for activities 13, 15, 17 and 26
Removing the requirement for scheme participants to complete the VU 23076 (Retrofit to improve energy and water efficiency) training unit for activities 13, 15, 17 and 26. The VU 23076 training unit expired on 31 December 2025.
For activities undertaken from 1 January 2026, accredited persons will no longer need to submit the scheme participants completion of VU 23076 training unit before they can submit activities 13, 15, 17 and 26.
