We have finalised our training and licensing requirements for incandescent GLS or compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) replacement activities (activity 21A) under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
Following our 2019 review of the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Guidelines, we have decided to implement all the key amendments from the draft decision (PDF).
The amended guidelines was gazetted on the Victorian Government Gazette on 16 May 2019. The new guidelines takes effect on 3 June 2019.

Victorian consumers will be given the power to request an adjusted bill from their energy retailer after providing an update of their gas usage under changes to the state’s energy rules.
Under the new rules set by the Essential Services Commission, customers who receive an estimated bill will be able to do their own meter reading from 1 July this year.
