The Essential Services Commission has released its draft decision on Lower Murray Water’s proposed five-year pricing plan for consultation, ahead of a final decision to be issued in June.
Under the business’s proposed plan, over the five years to 2028, customer prices will fall for most rural districts, with falls of around 6.4 per cent for the Mildura High Pressure district and 5.4 per cent for the Robinvale district.
We have completed the consultation process and as a result we have developed activity guidance and record-keeping requirements for the revised Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) water heating and space heating and cooling activities which came into effect on 31 May 2023.

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action released the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Specifications 2018 - Version 15.0 on 18 May 2023. This follows the making of the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Amendment (Electrification and Home Energy Rating Assessment) Regulations 2023 on 18 April 2023.
