The Essential Services Commission has commenced consultation on resources designed to assist water businesses to comply with their reporting obligations set out in the Water Industry Standards. The resources will help strengthen the water consumer protection framework by helping to ensure the commission is made aware of critical service issues in a timely way, and therefore able to take action to support better customer outcomes.
