Apply now: new Victorian Energy Upgrades Industry Reference Group

The Essential Services Commission (commission) is seeking expressions of interest to join a new Industry Reference Group (IRG) for the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.

The IRG will strengthen our engagement, enhancing the way we listen and communicate with industry stakeholders, building awareness of industry obligations and consumer rights under the program and improving consumer outcomes. 

The establishment of this reference group aligns with our 2025–29 Strategic Plan, which outlines our refreshed vision, purpose and focus as we continue to promote the long-term interests of Victorian consumers.

How to apply

Please complete this online application form by 5pm on Friday, 31 October 2025 to apply for the VEU Industry Reference Group (IRG). 

Interested parties can apply to be a member or associate member of the IRG. Please read the Terms of Reference for more information about the role of the IRG, eligibility and more. 

Successful applicants will need to sign the Terms of Reference document before confirmation of appointment to the VEU IRG.
