System update: VEU Registry enhancements from 24 June 2026
We will release an update to the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Registry system on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. The update will include:
- A new Operating Period End Date field when creating Project-Based Activities (PBA) Impact Reports.
- Operating Period End Date is now visible in the Impact Report Locations related list on the PBA Impact Report record page.
The Registry system will be unavailable from 9am to 11am on Wednesday, 24 July 2026 while we make these changes.
See further information about the updates below.
Operating Period End Date for PBA Impact Reports
When creating a PBA Impact Report, accredited persons will need to enter an Operating Period End Date for each impact report. This field uses a standard date picker and is mandatory for all impact reports.
This date represents the last day of the operating period for the impact report and is used as the Activity Date when Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEECs) are created. A tooltip is available next to the field explaining how the date is used.
Please note: if the Operating Period End Date is left blank, a validation message will appear and the impact report application cannot be saved until the date is entered.
Viewing the Operating Period End Date
The Operating Period End Date is now displayed in the Impact Report Locations list on the PBA Impact Report record page, between the Nominated VEECs and Created Activity columns. This allows you to easily view and reference the operating period information when reviewing your impact report data.
