Telstra Energy (Generation) Pty Ltd (ACN 613 554 233) has applied for a licence to sell electricity under section 18 of the Electricity Industry Act 2000 (Vic). The applicant proposes to act as the intermediary wholesaler for the sale of electricity generated via the Murra Warra wind farm proposed to be operated by Murra Warra Project Co Pty Ltd.
The commission may grant or refuse to grant the application for any reason it considers appropriate having regard to the commission’s objectives under the Electricity Industry Act 2000 (Vic) and the Essential Services Commission Act 2001 (Vic).
