The Victorian Government has introduced changes to the regulation of electricity and gas prices, which took effect from 1 January 2009. These changes are designed to make it easier for all Victorians to make the best energy choice to suit their needs. Retailers are required to publish standing offer tariffs and certain market offers on their websites from early January 2009. Visit the Your Choice website to see the tariffs and details of retailers market offers. The Commission will report publicly on these tariffs and offers in late 2009.
