The Commission has commenced a review to establish maximum prices 17 Victorian water businesses can charge for their water and sewerage services for the regulatory period from 1 July 2018.
The 2018 water price review covers: Barwon Water, Central Highlands Water, City West Water, Coliban Water, East Gippsland Water, Gippsland Water, Goulburn Valley Water, Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water (GWMWater), Lower Murray Water, North East Water, South East Water, South Gippsland Water, Southern Rural Water, Wannon Water, Western Water, Westernport Water and Yarra Valley Water.
The water pricing framework and approach paper describes the main elements of the water pricing approach. The guidance paper details the information that a water business must provide in its price submission to allow the Commission to consider its proposed prices.
Water business price submissions, the Commission’s decisions and related reports, submissions and price determinations will be released here in the course of the review.
Price submissions for each of the 17 water business must be lodged with the Commission by 29 September 2017.
