pricing order sets out the requirements regarding how the port must set its prices for prescribed services. Clause 7 of the pricing order requires the Port of Melbourne to submit a tariff compliance statement to the commission each year to demonstrate how the port has complied with the pricing order. To promote transparency of the regulatory process, the port has agreed to publish its tariff compliance statement. The commission will publish commentary on the tariff compliance statement by November 2017, to inform the port and users of our views on the port’s compliance in the lead up to the commission’s five year review of compliance.
