The Commission developed a trade waste customer service code for the Victorian water businesses to address matters such as discharge acceptance criteria, pricing principles and dispute resolution and arbitration. This code will provide for consistent, transparent and timely decision making on trade waste management matters.
The Department of Sustainability and Environment's trade waste review report which recommended the Commission take on this role is available on their website.
