New customer contributions - Framework for the next regulatory period

New customer contributions also known as developer charges are levied by water businesses when new customers connect to the existing water, sewerage and recycled water networks. During the preparation of the new customer contributions guideline for this regulatory period , the Commission flagged it's intent to develop a principles based framework for the next regulatory period. The Commission has now commenced consultation with industry groups and aims to complete the review by June 2012.
