Codes and Guidelines

As part of its role the Commission publishes codes and guidelines which impose obligations on the water businesses.

Codes are made under section 4F of the Water Industry Act 1994 in accordance with clause 15 of the Water Industry Regulatory Order 2003. Guidelines are published pursuant to section 13 of the Essential Services Act 2001.
