Licence Application - Alinta Energy Sales Pty Ltd

Alinta Energy Retail Sales Pty Ltd (Alinta), ABN 22 149 658 300, has applied for a licence under the Electricity Industry Act 2001 to retail electricity in Victoria.  A copy of the public submission is appended below.

The Commission may grant or refuse to grant a licence for any reason it considers appropriate having regard to the Commission's objectives under the Electricity Industry Act 2001 and the financial viability and technical capacity of the applicant.

The Commision hereby gives notice that on 2 February 2012 an Electricity Retail Licence was granted to Alinta Energy Retail Sales Pty Ltd.
